HUGE MAHALO to make our Annual Harvest Fest a huge success!

On behalf of the Hahaione PTSA, we would like to extend a huge mahalo to all of the 5th grade families, teachers and students who helped to make our Annual Harvest Fest a huge success!  We are so thankful for all the hands that helped to build, decorate and worked in the spooky haunted house, the hands that baked, purchased, picked up and donated yummy treats, the countless volunteers who helped to set up from morning to night, worked at a booth and/or stayed until the very end to clean up!  A special mahalo to 5th grade parent, DeAnne Buote, for helping us to plan this special night for all to enjoy.  Thank you for bringing your children out to enjoy one of the most popular evening events of the year!  Our next PTSA meeting will be on Monday, Nov. 6 at 6:45pm.  The children do not have school that day, but we'll still have our meeting.  We have lots to talk about.. with the next event being the Rummage Sale.  We are still accepting donations and looking for volunteer

Aloha Haha`ione PTSA and families, We hope your children had a blast at our PTSA Fun Run!  Thank you all for your generous monetary donations, volunteering and cheering on your children as they ran to raise funds for their school!  It's not too late!  If you still would like to send in donations, please turn them in to your teacher or our school office when they return to school.  The classroom with the highest monetary donations will receive an ice cream party!  The highest fund-raisers will receive a prize!! ** Check out the awesome video by parent, Mike Yasutake, on our PTSA Facebook page www.facebook.com/HahaionePTSA   **  Save the dates! Fun Run 2017 was truly FUN! Mahalo Haha`ione families!!

There is no “ I ” in team but we sure are glad there is a “ u ” in our volunteers! The 11th Annual Fun Run could not have happened without “YOU” our awesome Haha’ione families! We wanted to thank you for your time, effort, food/water donations, expertise and LOVE for our keiki during this year's Fun Run. We also appreciate your patience for the hiccups that inevitably occur during an event of this size and scope. Speaking of which, the drone that took all of the aerial photos was safely “rescued” by the visiting Honolulu Fire Department after it got stuck 2 stories up in a tree! Last but not least, a huge mahalo to the amazing Kaiser Band and Cheer Squad who make the running more fun for our keiki with their music and encouragement. Thank you again! "Date change to Friday 22nd" - Calling all volunteers for Fun Run T-shirt sorting!!!

Calling all volunteers! We have the big task of sorting and delivering over 550 FUN RUN t-shirts . If you have time (and can sort your colors), we will meet in the library conference room at 8am on Monday Friday , September 25th 22nd !   Even if you have an hour to spare, we would love your assistance.  Regarding Fun Run snacks - we have plenty of non-perishable items but are still in need of FRESH FRUIT for the kids! Please help spread the word that we need fresh fruit (cut into pieces if oranges, apples, etc) and put into one gallon ziplock bags.  This is the healthiest of the snacks so we are desperate to have more families sign up to donate this item.  Families can sign-up under the “snack” section of the Fun Run sign-up genius . Fun Run 2017 Kick-off

Thank you for 2nd graders to join our 11th FUN RUN kick-off performance team today. Also, thank you for Haha`ione School members including students, teachers, Mr. Goo to support the kick-off event.
