Fun Run 2017 was truly FUN! Mahalo Haha`ione families!!

There is no “I” in team but we sure are glad there is a “u” in our volunteers!

The 11th Annual Fun Run could not have happened without “YOU” our awesome Haha’ione families! We wanted to thank you for your time, effort, food/water donations, expertise and LOVE for our keiki during this year's Fun Run. We also appreciate your patience for the hiccups that inevitably occur during an event of this size and scope. Speaking of which, the drone that took all of the aerial photos was safely “rescued” by the visiting Honolulu Fire Department after it got stuck 2 stories up in a tree!

Last but not least, a huge mahalo to the amazing Kaiser Band and Cheer Squad who make the running more fun for our keiki with their music and encouragement. Thank you again!

Fun Run Donations are due back to teachers by Friday, October 6th. Prizes will be awarded for the Top 3 students (highest donations collected) & an ice-cream party for the class that collects the most donations.

Please save the date!  Harvest Fest is another family fun night on Friday, Oct. 27 in the evening.  This event is hosted by our 5th grade families and we are in search of a coordinator(s).  It's fun to plan with friends... If you're interested in chairing this event, grab a friend or two, and plan it together!  That's how our great partnership began.  :)

For more information, please come to our next PTSA meeting on Monday, Oct. 2 at 6:45pm in our school library.

As always, let us know if you have any questions or comments.

Thank you and we hope your child(ren) had the best day EVER!!! We sure did!

Thank you...

Your 2017 Fun Run Co-Chairs and parent volunteers,

Angela Bond, Yoko Uyehara and Michelle Matsumoto (PTSA Secretary)
